This is how to change corrupt politicians and their supporters in country where politicians in government abused their political powers against the citizens - something most be done, we seriously need changes in the attitude of governance in Nigeria.

Nobody wishes anyone harm but in Nigeria situations; if the people can not wake up and gradually take back their localize government from evil politicians or their servants, nothing good will be their benefits from this wicked APC government; people are truly suffering and there is serious hunger in town.

President Bola Tinubu has urged African governments to prioritise investment in science, research and innovation to tackle food insecurity, as the continent's food import bill climbed to $122.9 billion.

Speaking at the 9th Africa Agriculture Science Week in Abuja, Tinubu said Africa's agricultural future depends on knowledge-driven development rather than natural resources alone.

Represented by Agriculture Minister Abubakar Kyari, the president said Nigeria is implementing reforms in irrigation, mechanisation, digital agriculture, financing and agro-industrial development to build a more productive and climate-resilient food system.

A report by AKADEMIYA2063 warned that Africa's rising dependence on imported food exposes deep structural weaknesses, despite the continent possessing nearly two-thirds of the world's uncultivated arable land.

The report also noted that 845 million Africans face moderate or severe food insecurity and urged governments to invest more in agricultural research, innovation and regional trade to boost food production and create jobs.

BREAKING: US President Donald Trump writes President Tinubu after receiving a letter from the Nigerian President, saying he appreciates Tinubu's decisive leadership

Full letter of Donald Trump

Dear Mr President,

“Thank you for your thoughtful letter. Your kind words mean a great deal to me, and I appreciate your decisive leadership on behalf of the Nigerian people. I applaud your resolve to tackle the issues plaguing your nation, especially the violence affecting Christian communities and it is a true honor to stand with you in the fight against terrorists and to make the Federal Republic of Nigeria stronger and more prosperous.

“The United States-Nigeria relationship is crucial at a time where conflict has spread across West Africa and around the world. We both share a mutual goal of confronting terrorism in all its forms, and our historic US-Nigeria 2026 Defence Cooperation Roadmap has established a robust framework to accomplish this feat.

“I am proud to have deployed the United States Special Operations Forces—among the most elite military units anywhere in the world—to equip the brave men and women in the Armed Forces of Nigeria with the skills, tools and intelligence they need to protect your homeland and ensure the safety and security of citizens, particularly those of faith who have been under attack. I look forward to our continued discussions over the course of my Presidency."

Sincerely,

Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America

Burkina Faso President, Ibrahim Traoré is making waves on social media following an impactful speech he delivered on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Traore who was addressing representatives from the Yagha region in Ouagadougou focused on two important areas: religion and education.

He stated that, his administration is committed to religious diversity and will not enforce any particular faith or belief system on the citizens.

“I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law here,” he said.

Traoré further highlighted a severe mismatch between the country's current educational outputs and its critical societal needs. According to him, many young Burkinabes are focusing on studying abstract theories, particularly religious scholarship.

He added further that, the focus of the country’s educational system will shift entirely towards STEM to meet the demands of modern development. “We need people with technological skills to build our nation, not Sharia scholars,” Traore said.

What are your thoughts on this?
