Dis arraignment dey come days afta police invite Sowore for di Force Headquarters for Abuja, sake of video wey e publish for im X handle wia e refuse to stop for policemen for one checkpoint for Lagos.

As Sowore go ansa di police summons, e later post for social media say di police don grant am administrative bail but e reject am.

According to am, di bail condition na for am to deposit im travel passport and also bring one surety wey go be a level 17 civil servant wit property for Abuja.

“I don reject di bail conditions and I chose to remain for detention,” Sowore bin write.

As e be now, di police don sama Sowore wit a 16-count charge wey concern cybercrime.

One of di counts tok say Sowore dey spread false information against di Inspector General of Police “wit di purpose of causing breakdown of law and order”.

Sowore plead not guilty to di charges.

Di matter dey bifor Justice Musa Sulaiman Liman of di Federal High Court Abuja.

Di case dey adjourned till Thursday, 30 January 2025 by 10pm for ruling on bail.
