*THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SET OF ADVISE l HAVE EVER READ. ALL MANKIND NEEDS THIS ADVICE!!!*

*1.* _Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead; if you lose, you can guide._

*2.* _People are not what they say but what they do; so judge them not from their words but from their actions._

*3.* _When someone hurts you, don't feel bad because it's a law of nature that the tree that bears the sweetest fruits gets maximum number of stones._

*4.* _Take whatever you can from your life because when life starts taking from you, it takes even your last breath._

*5.* _In this world, people will always throw stones on the path of your success. It depends on what you make from them - a wall or a bridge._

*6.* _Challenges make life interesting; overcoming them make life meaningful._

*7.* _There is no joy in victory without running the risk of defeat._

*8.* _A path without obstacles leads nowhere._

*9.* _Past is a nice place to visit but certainly not a good place to stay._

*10.* _You can't have a better tomorrow if you are thinking about yesterday all the time._

*11.* _If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, then you haven't done much today._

*12.* _If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs._

*13.* _If you don't climb the mountain; you can't view the plain._

*14.* _Don't leave it idle - use your brain._

*15.* _You are not paid for having brain, you are only rewarded for using it intelligently._

*16.* _It is not what you don't have that limits you; it is what you have but don't know how to use._

*17.* _What you fail to learn might teach you a lesson._

*18.* _The difference between a corrupt person and an honest person is: The corrupt person has a price while the honest person has a value._

*19.* _If you succeed in cheating someone, don't think that the person is a fool...... Realize that the person trusted you much more than you deserved._

*20.* _Honesty is an expensive gift; don't expect it from cheap people._

*This is a very interesting post and I want everyone to benefit.*

#bitumen report: I knew there was calamity at Lekki — Desmond Elliot

By Noah Banjo
November 16, 2021

Nigerian actor and politician Desmond Elliot has reacted to the Lagos EndSARS panel report, which was released on Monday.

Reacting to the report on the Wake Up Nigeria programme on TVC, he said that he read the report but already knew that the incident was chaotic.

Elliot also claimed that he knew that the truth regarding the incident would surface stating that it was a pattern for the government in power.

He said, “I read it and it was very heartbreaking. Heartwrenching. I knew there was a calamity, chaos. Except you are not Nigerian or you are not human. You would feel for everybody.

“I have always said something. When MKO died and the government of the day denied and denied, it took this government to come and say you know what, we have wronged you; this is the truth. And they actually gave Democracy Day.

“We have always said the truth comes out. There is no how you would try to hide it, the truth would come out.”

The member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, however, commended the state government for letting the report see the light of day.

Elliot said that the government’s action was commendable because it would have known that the report would indict it but still allowed it to be released.

“But I now looked at it from another angle. Is it possible that this government didn’t know what was going to come out? Of course, they did. But the government of today, I am talking of the state government, I want to believe knew what was going to come out.

“There is going to be an official statement so let me not jump the gun because I am also in office,” Elliot added.

The lawmaker came under fire after the Lekki toll gate incident for calling on the Speaker of the state House of Assembly to “address certain things” like “the Nigerian youth, the social media, the social influencers”.

FG Pegs One Bedroom Apartment At N7.3m, Equivalent Of 20 Years Salary Of Nigerians On Minimum Wage

By Ukpe Philip

The Federal Government has launched a portal for its 5,000 housing units which are under different phases of completion.

The Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashiola, said Nigerians can now apply for houses built under the current Federal Government’s National Housing Programme (NHP) in 34 states of the country.

This was following the formal launch of the portal, which took place at the Conference Room of the Ministry in Mabushi, Abuja on Friday.

Fashola said, “We converge here just to introduce a portal on which the National Housing Programme pilot will be offered for sale to the public. What that means is that we will not be selling printed forms, the forms are online and this allows for more openness, limits human intervention and any disposition to any underhand practice”.

Nigeria has a housing deficit of over 21 million units and over N21trn will be required to finance the deficit.

But the debate by experts is that the country needs housing units that average Nigerians can afford.

The National Minimum Wage signed by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 was N30,0000 per month.

The building project which was undertaken by the Ministry of Works is under the National Housing Programme programme and is inline with the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria (SGD), the government had claimed.

The seventeen SDGs have an urban component, including targets such as affordable housing.

BREAKING: More Hardship For Nigerians As FG Raises Price Of Pre-Paid Meter From N82,855 To N109,684

By Ifeanyi Onuba

The Federal Government has raised the price of both single-phase and three-phase electricity meters beginning from November 15, 2021.

It announced this in a circular dated November 11, 2021, issued by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The circular was addressed to managing directors, all electricity distribution companies and all meter asset providers.

The circular, with reference number NERC/REG/MAP/GEN/751/2, was entitled ‘Review of the unit price of end-use meters under the Meter Asset Provider and National Mass Metering Regulations.’

Recall, the metering scheme was introduced by the Federal Government through the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, following the high level of complaints received from customers dissatisfied with the estimated billing practices.

Shortly after the launch of the metering scheme, the FG launched the National Mass Metering Programme (NMMP), to increase the country’s metering rate and eliminate arbitrary estimated billing.
