The "Industrial" Neighbor: 4 Containers on a Brick Podium.
This house doesn't just sit on the block; it owns it.
The builder used a Hybrid Strategy to get this 3-story masterpiece approved in a suburban neighborhood.
The Base: They built the ground floor (garage and entry) out of traditional Red Brick. This anchors the house visually and satisfies the "permanent structure" requirements of the city.
The Stack: On top of that brick podium, they stacked four 40ft shipping containers (two per level) to create the living quarters.
The Aesthetic: Instead of hiding the containers, they celebrated them! They painted the steel a fresh Copper/Orange to match the warmth of the brick below. The result is a stunning mix of "Old School Masonry" and "New School Industrial."
