Delta Police Nab Brothers Who Abducted, Robbed Man of N70m, Luxury Benz

Two brothers, Maxwell Mathew (25) and Samuel Mathew (21), have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for allegedly abducting and robbing a young man, Patrick Omoregie, of a staggering seventy million naira (N70m) and other valuables.
According to police sources, the suspects forcefully transferred N70m from the victim's bank account at gunpoint and also stole his Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, an iPhone 16 Plus, and N150,000 cash during the attack, which occurred in Abraka Community, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Police operatives were able to recover about N30 million from the suspects, along with the victim’s luxury Benz, one helmet, a locally-made cut-to-size single-barrel gun, two cartridges, and two high-powered motorcycles.
Investigations revealed that the duo had been terrorizing the Abraka area with their criminal activities before fleeing to a hotel in Benin City, Edo State. They were apprehended while allegedly making arrangements to sell the stolen vehicle.
The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the fight against crime in the state, as residents commend the swift response of law enforcement agents.
