Roopkund, famously known as the "Mystery Lake," is a breathtaking sight, often frozen over for much of the year. Revered as the sacred pool of Mother Parvati, it holds deep spiritual significance. Located at an altitude of around 16,000 feet, Roopkund lies in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, nestled between the towering Himalayan peaks of Mount Trishul and Mount Nanda Ghunti. The Roopkund Trek starts from Lohajung, within the stunning Nanda Devi National Park.
