What is WPC?
WPC or Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing, is basically under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India. The WPC Wing basically oversees and regulates how radio frequency frequencies are used in India. All wireless or radio frequency (Radio Frequency) equipment must be in compliance with WPC rules before it is licensed or being used within the country. The WPC-ETA (Equipment Type Approval) Certification is therefore a mandatory requirement needed for all wireless-based products that are being regulated in the Indian market.
