Situated approximately 18 miles southeast of downtown Orlando, MCO (Orlando International Airport) is a central gateway to Florida and a primary airport for both leisure and business travelers. It consistently ranks as one of the top ten busiest airports in the United States by passenger volume.
The airport is designed with a main terminal split into Terminals A and B, connected to four separate airside concourses (Airside 1 through Airside 4) via automated people movers (APMs). Southwest Airlines operates out of Airside 1, which serves both domestic and international flights.
