Our process introduces a new way to look at thermal breaks, one that does not have structural vulnerabilities, while also yielding some of the highest thermal rates in the industry. This differs from the popular industry method of constructing thermally broken steel frames is by purchasing the frames pre-made from a foreign country then cutting them & constructing. These frames simply crimp a fiberglass reinforced plastic thermal break in-between two pieces of steel, which leads to a structurally compromised frame when introduced to lateral forces, like earthquakes.
