A multilingual storyteller fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and French, she holds a degree in International Affairs and worked at the United Nations. Her journey into storytelling began through writing and editing, eventually evolving into screenwriting, directing, and producing. She is also recognized as one of the “30 Filmmakers to Watch in 2025.” Together, they founded Because I Can Productions, a platform dedicated to creating original, character-driven content. Their latest film, ‘Standoff,’ is a gripping and unconventional crypto-heist story that challenges genre norms. Directed and written by Marlyn, the film stands out not only for its subject matter but also for bringing a fresh voice to a genre rarely led by female filmmakers.
