Running a small business in NJ and social media has honestly become the most exhausting part of marketing for me. I keep starting strong for a couple weeks and then completely fall off — no consistency, random posting times, barely any engagement.
I've been considering looking into social media services in NJ just to take some of this off my plate, but I'm honestly torn on whether it's worth it or if I should just try to get better at doing it myself.
For those of you who either hired an agency/freelancer or manage it yourself:
Did outsourcing actually make a noticeable difference, or was it not worth the cost?
If you do it yourself, how do you stay consistent without burning out?
Any red flags I should watch for if I do end up looking into local agencies?
Not trying to promote anything, just genuinely trying to figure out the best move here before I waste money on something that doesn't work.
