Air Max 270, Nike continue to look back to the 1985 ‘Be True to your School’ Dunk era, rehashing older colourways for the silhouette’s massive newfound customer base. Last year, at arguably the peak of the Dunk High’s resurgence, we received absolute classics such as the ‘Syracuse’ and ‘Michigan’. It was only natural that some of that 80s flavour trickled down onto the SB Dunk, the similar looking (but very different) cousin to the mainline silhouette.we’ve just received our first official look at the Orange Label skate shop-exclusive Nike SB Dunk High Pro ISO inspired by the OG ‘Kentucky’ iteration! While not an exact one-for-one remake, it loosely resembles the colourway, and is probably the best we’ll be getting for a while.
This Nike SB Dunk High features White tumbled leather across the base while Royal Blue appears on the overlays, Swoosh logos, and rubber outsole. Since this pair is part of the Orange Label series, we have Orange on the tongue labels, lace tips, and branding on the insoles. Lastly, a White midsole and a Royal Blue rubber outsole finish the look.that’s topped with a few highlighter hits for good measure.
The Nike Air Max 270 White Volt takes design inspiration from both the Air Max 180 and Air Max 93. Featuring an all-white mesh upper, the 'White Volt' colorway offers contrasting textures with tonal panels along the midfoot and toe complete with Swoosh branding. The Air Max unit comes in translucent Volt. The heel bubble shares space along the bottom of the profile with a white dual-density foam midsole. The large Air 270 unit in the heel will grab your attention, with a thickness of 32 mm that offers unbeatable cushioning.
