  • Patients may experience nausea and vomiting due to increased nitrogenous wastes in blood .
  • Kidney degeneration and increased creatinine levels lower the function of kidney and urine outflow reduces that eventually cause fluid retention, this condition develops the problem like swelling in legs or face or generalized swelling may be seen, fluid retention even causes abdominal distension.
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Dryness of skin and skin rashes

Complications of raised creatinine levels

Ayurvedic perspective of kidney Health

In Ayurveda, kidney related problems are associated with Mutravaha srotas ( urinary system).

Doshas involved in it are vata, pitta, kapha (mostly vata and kapha).

Treatment in ayurveda focuses on restoring the complete health of kidneys by balancing the doshas involved and focusing on root cause.

All that matters is what the condition of the kidney is. If the kidney becomes totally calcified or sclerotic then ayurveda treatment focuses on building the immunity of the body and providing symptomatic relief to the patient to provide the patient quality of life.

In Ayurveda the medicines that are used to maintain the kidney are all based on the prakriti and vikriti of the patient and the doshas that are imbalanced.

  • Rasayana medication are used to restore the functioning of the kidney
  • Ayurvedic diuretic medication ( that is mutual herbs ) are used to relieve the obstructions in the urinary system ( mutravaha srotas ).
  • Nephroprotective medications in ayurveda are used to stop further degeneration of kidney tissues.
  • Focusing on the main cause is the main criteria to resolve kidney diseases that why medication to control causes like Blood pressure and Diabetes are used.
  • Dietary changes and lifestyle changes are also provided to decrease the strain on kidney functions.

At Aksa Ayurveda, the treatment protocol to treat elevated creatinine levels used is totally based on Ayurvedic principles of tridosha, srotas correction, and saptadhatu.

In Aksa Ayurveda, the ayurvedic physician takes your history properly, and analyses the cause, prakriti and vikriti, According to that only the proper treatment is provided that works very effectively.
