A Foley balloon catheter is a medical instrument used by doctors for safe urine drainage from the bladder. It does this with a small inflatable balloon located at the tip, which holds the catheter in place. The Foley catheter comes in 2-way and 3-way styles, which are used for routine drainage, post-surgical healing, and bladder irrigation. These are sterilized with an EO process, are disposable, and are available in 6 FG to 30 FG in size suitable for adult and pediatric use for short- and long-term use.
