The Cellular Jail light and sound show is a show that I have heard is worth seeing in Port Blair. I have been searching about Andaman Tour Packages from Kolkata and I discovered that most of them involve a journey into the Cellular Jail. The show normally begins at 6 pm and continues to last for approximately an hour though I have heard that it can be cancelled by weather conditions. The show is a touching dedication to the freedom fighters who were put in jail during the British rule. I also heard that the show is voiced by a local artist, and he makes the history of the jail alive. The show is usually part of the package but I have been told that it is also sold separately at approximately 200 rupees per person. I intend to purchase a package that will include the light and sound show and a guided tour of the jail.
